Guwahati (Assam), June 28 (ANI): A Bengal tiger was found dead at a zoo in Guwahati. The seven-year-old male royal Bengal tiger was an inhabitant of the zoo since its birth. The tiger was found dead reportedly due to searing heat wave conditions in the region. Assam Forest Minister Pramila Rani Brahma said an investigation was underway to ascertain the cause of the death of the big cat. Assam is reeling under extreme temperatures with high levels of humidity. The zoo officials are currently awaiting the post-mortem report of the tiger.
